The Vita Goat is partly inspired by the well-established
Soy Cow and Vita Cow equipment. Thousands of these systems are currently
employed in over 40 countries. The principal at Malnutrition Matter have
been involved in the development for almost 10 years. Now we (SSP Private
Limited (Pump Division)) have entered into a Technology Transfer with Malnutrition Matter,
Ottawa, Canada for developing in India a new Food Processing System called
'VITA GOAT' which makes Soya Milk from Soya Beans.
The key feature of this system is operating without the need of electricity
supply or generator. It uses locally -available fuels, including woods or
other biomass, or bottled gas, for the cooking section of the operation.
The boiler uses wood, coal, or gas to produce super heated steam, which is
fed into the pressure cooker. This cooking method is 10 times more efficient
than stovetop. The cooked food product is then released into the filtepress
to separate the liquid from solid residue. These products can then be
further processed or preserved.
Food products include soy milk, yogurt, tofu, fruit and vegetable purees
and sauces. All components are designed to be serviced locally.
The multi-adjustable cycle grinder, by itself, can produce uncooked
products like ground coffee, peanut butter, cornmeal and fruit puree.
It also prepares the mash from soaked soya beans, fruits or vegetables;
ready for further processing into cooked products. This highly durable,
multi purpose Soya machine is available at very economical prices.
